Tottenham Are In For Watford's Midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure

Abdoulaye Doucoure needed by Tottenham as Victor Wanyama Replacement.


The Frenchman has pulled in a series of admirers for his performances in the core of the Watford's midfield.

Tottenham are interested in Watford's £35m-evaluated authority Abdoulaye Doucoure with questions over the future of Victor Wanyama.
The 25-year-old Frenchman has pulled in a series of admirers for his performances in the core of the Hornets' midfield.

Liverpool, PSG and Arsenal are also observing his progress however Spurs could move for him in January.
Wanyama, 27, moved to North London from Southampton for just £9million two years back.



He looked a deal amid his great first season under Mauricio Pochettino, making 47 apperances.

However, he grabbed knee damage in a pre-season game against Barcelona which destroyed his bid to expand on that first campaign.
Wanyama has since failed to secure his place in the first 11.



The Kenyan presently has Eric Dier, Mousa Dembele, Moussa Sissoko and Harry Winks as first choices before him.



In the interim, Son Heung-min got his first objectives of the season amid Tottenham's 3-1 Carabao Cup triumph over West Ham.

Furthermore, Pochettino is trusting the strikes can kick-start an exciting goal scoring streak for the South Korean.

"It is so important for an offensive player to find the net," said Pochettino. "He was working hard to try and change that situation and of course I am happy because that is going to give him very good confidence, [to] trust in himself and always it is welcome when the offensive players start to score.



"You feel sorry when the player works so hard and Sonny in the last few weeks or months he was ready, in a situation wanting to work every day and change the situation and you feel so happy and proud. 
"[He] never gave up and was always fighting in every training session, always with the best face and being professional.
"And when the player gets reward you feel so happy - that's why when he came to me we hug because I share the happiness."
